First, I want to say that this post is not about bashing men. I truly believe that in any relationship (marriage, friendship or otherwise) both parties are responsible for the breakdown of that relationship. The purpose of this post is to empower women to have a better understanding of men and to empower both men and women on how to improve their relationships.

Wow! Tula what a great post as always!!! You know I never really knew the psychology behind it, but It of course it makes sense. Women pay attention to your men the right way, and they won’t stray. We as men always want to feel like the love we share with someone is reciprocated.
I know I talk to my girl and put her on a pedestal and tell her how much I love her everyday. When we are together I make her feel special so she wont want to stray on me… Guys don’t be fooled women cheat also.
The key is for both partners to make each other feel more special than the next. That’s how you keep love going….

Well, I think that’s the key here, Robert. Reciprocation. Women expect to be appreciated, admired and placed on a pedestal. However, it doesn’t dawn on women that men require the same. We have this image of men being un-emotional, strong, and not talking about their feelings. Where the fact seems to be that men simply express their feelings in a different way. You can tell me if that’s true or not! LOL Ultimately, though, it seems that men want the same thing that women want… to feel special and appreciated and wanted.
